David Lotfi, the co-founder and CEO of Evina, will be one of the opening keynote speakers at Telecoms World Middle East 2022, a major event attended by C-levels from major telcos on 24 and 25 May at the Ritz Carlton in Dubai, UAE.
Lotfi is expected to reveal how telcos will be able to seize the biggest opportunity of this generation to become the world’s biggest fintechs.
The highly anticipated keynote will take place at 9:40 a.m. on May 24, and will be preceded by talks from the CEO of Etisalat UAE and the COO of Vodafone Qatar.
Telecoms World Middle East is an opportunity for the brightest telco minds to gather strategic insights and hone their vision of the future of their business. Lotfi’s contributions and Evina’s vision will be key in shaping the future of the telco industry.
“For the past 15 years, I’ve been working with mobile operators and I’ve uncovered three secrets that should be shared with the industry, because I believe no CEO can make the right strategic decisions in 2022 without knowing them,” states Lotfi.
Evina has a long track record of helping leading MNOs develop their financial services, to support them in taking the next step to becoming a true fintech. With the likes of Ooredoo, Proximus, Orange and Vodacom, Evina has helped many of its partners to fight cybercriminals and fraud, and substantially expand their payment business like never before.
Lotfi will speak on three other occasions across the event’s two days and these include:
16h20 on Day 1: Turning content purchasing into an enchanting experience.
14h40 on Day 2: How cybersecurity data can be used as a driver for business growth.
15h20 on Day 2: Why telcos need agile and intelligent AI capabilities at the core of cyber security. (Panel discussion featuring David and Hesham Mustafa – Chief Business Officer at STC Bahrain and Yasser Fouad – Group Director: Information Security, Network & Infrastructure at Telecom Egypt).
